I love it when I come up with a good analogy...

My boss asked for "some sentences" explaining why we need to write a reference guide to expound upon a "BNF" formulation of the syntax (grammar) for a programming language.

For non-code-monkeys, BNF is a cryptical but reasonably precise way to describe the grammatical rules of a programming language. ( Read more... )

Now before you think she's really evil, it's not like that. She's actually a really good boss for me. She seems to *get* my introversion, she has a kid with the same autism spectrum diagnosis (without the other mental health issues), and she's good technically, a good writer ... a bit of a micro-manager with others, but not so much with me.
